Three different codecs tested, H.265, DNxHR HQX & Prores 422 HQ. Three clips are here in that order.

Filmed at 3840 x 2160 on a Lumix GH6 connected with a Kondor blue hdmi cable. Camera set to 4k v-log 4-2-2 @ 24 fps. All captured on the Ninja v+ and color checked to Rec.709 quickly just using the Spyder 24 card & I also added a bit of contrast. Final video render was about 500mb but the camera files were huge.

For each 2 minute video the H.265 was 4.1gb. the DNxHR was 10gb and the Prores HQ was 9.3 gb. The full 2 minutes of each clip were included in the final render, just color checked and with contrast added.

Unlike the problems i 've been experiencing with the GH6 internal cfexpress card, there were no dropped frames on the ninja drive in what was essentially a 7+ minute total shoot, tho there were of course breaks where i stopped recording long enough to change recording codec.

Recorded on an Andycine Lunchbox drive. Worked perfectly after i did the physical drive install from the original Samsung external case to the Andycine carrier. The Andycine reader DOES NOT read my AtomX drive, nor does the Atomx reader read my Andycine lunchbox drive - this is annoying. ninja v+ & panasonic lumix gh6 4k test footage with 3 codecs
