Massoud’s Men Kill Over 50 Taliban Fighters In Panjshir; Saleh Says Will Defend All Afghans’ Rights

The Resistance forces in Panjshir valley say that they will continue to fight the Taliban. A Taliban spokesperson also said that both sides have suffered casualties in the ongoing battle. The Taliban also called on fighters in the holdout bastion of the Panjshir Valley to lay down their arms. The National Resistance Front (NRF) has vowed to defend the valley as the Islamist group sends fighters to surround the area. Former Vice President of Afghanistan Amrullah Saleh has also been backing the resistance forces. Saleh said that the resistance forces in Panjshir Valley will defend the rights of all Afghans.
